QuiltingNinaSue, that is beautiful! I'll have to look up Whack and Stack. I figure by the name, you pile up a bunch of fabric and cut it all out at one time. Or something like that. It sure is pretty, and I can't wait to see it when you're finished!

We're a little like that here in Dallas, although we do get colder I think. We are in short sleeves year round, too. The problem is when we have a high near 80, then a front blows in, and a few hours later it's in the 20's. I think that makes it feeler colder because we never get acclimated to it. It'll stay cold for a few days, maybe a week, maybe a month or so, then we're in the 50's and 60's again. We'll be back in the 80's in March, and we try to hold out on the A/C until June. We're usually not successful with that.
