My company just left and I checked the board and couldn't believe the reveal was up already. Wow, how beautiful!
Everyone's pictures are wonderful and inspiring. I look forward to seeing everyone's finished quilt. I was going to clean up my quilt room tomorrow....guess that will not be happening

Here's one block on the design wall. Some of my light blues are reading neutral so I may do more with the darker shade of light blue

    I love your blocks, quiltsRus!
    KalamaQ, your layout is lovely!
This is so much fun, seeing everyone's beauties coming together! You have all been an awesome team to chat with and have given wise advise during this exciting MQ. Thank you for all bringing such fun! I think this past month of sewing with you has been one of the jolliest holiday seasons ever! Happy 2017

    That's beautiful, QuiltsRfun!

All of my greens are quite dark, so I'm thinking I might try replacing the lavender in clue #6 with a lighter green, so the green will look more prominent.

However, the more I look at this the more I think you should make one small exchange....

The top right and top left neutral 4-patches - if you were to exchange these with a square to match the adjacent dark tri-rec outer triangles, then this unit would create a secondary star pattern when the blocks are assembled.

Why not try it and see?

Great idea, Siodach! I'm think of making those stars red too... maybe?? I'll sleep on it

Well I laid out the clues I have .............. just not sure. Then I switched the teal 4 patches w/ the black 4 patches and reversed the hst ...... still don't know. Either way the center block in the big square isn't going to be a 4 patch. (even though I have it laid out here that way)

Wow, Kassaundra, that is very stunning! The black is such a bold accent.
Some of you are all so fast! I'm still slowly cutting out more tri-rec triangles in the place of Bonnie's clue #7 hourglasses.

I like them both, but think I lean towards the first one. You get bonus points from me for totally translating the color scheme. I love the red & black.
