Givio I have no idea how to do what you asked but I did make a thread for it in the tutorials section.

Playswithcolor that is amazing I love it.

playswithcolor, Look at all those neutral squares! Wow! It looks nice without the yellow. (I made my yellow really pale to try to blend it in.) Good work, there! :-)

Kassaundra, I'm too lazy to read the instructions how to make a blog entry that's associated with a name. When I send a private message I just see you can read articles and blogs that the person has written. I'd be more likely to remember you made the tutorial rather than go looking for it on a thread.

Playswithcolour -- Wow! Even after doing this quilt, I can't figure out how you managed that arrangement. I love the magenta and green stars surrounded by the circles of purple/ lavender.

Playswithcolour - I too love what you have done with your quilt! The stars and colours really stand out against your neutrals - It is very striking!! I'm not much of a fan of too much bright or contrasting yellows and as I am just starting, I am also struggling with getting a more blended look when picking my fabrics.

playswithcolor - the green stars really shine in your layout. Love it!
belfreybat - very nice! Thanks for showing the green border strip. That's what I'm thinking about doing.
ddtrina - you may want to try changing color in a pattern that you know, not a mystery quilt. Or try some of the mystery quilt trains here on the board. I believe there's one about every month. I think justjan runs them. The smaller projects can build up your confidence quickly, and the encouragement on the board is fantastic.

Here's where I quit. Just not a great fan of the original pattern. I'm thinking of using the same finish as belfreybat, a small green strip with a row of neutral 4-patches.

ddtrina - paintmejudy is running the mystery trains. Sorry for any confusion.
