Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt 2017 - En Provence
#1676
Joe'smom,
I have the second one done and ready to sew together. I would hate to waste the fabric and tri recs, four patches etc. I am going to change it around as I did on the first one, probably a bit different and forge ahead. Next time no matter how much I like the colors I will wait before getting too excited.

Sounds like we all have pressing issues. There are just so many bulky seams to contend with. I am doing mine how she suggested for the blocks. Sometimes on the HST I will redirect the seam so they line up better. I have 4 blocks sewn and another laid out ready and waiting. I haven't sewn any sashing strips together yet. Probably won't make much progress now since my daughter and her hubby are visiting from France for 2 weeks.
Kassaundra, thanks for your tutorial. I am considering doing mine that way. Guess I'd better figure out what I am using for backing!

Finally got mine finished!!
Love the front, hate the lumpy back, but hey ho, it is what it is.

Because I had swapped around a couple of the colour placements, I had a bunch of original units left over, so I devised a border to use these up.
So it's been a blast doing this, even though it's taken me far too long to complete the top. There's been some fantastic tops appearing here, and I'm full of admiration for those of you who have already completed the full quilt!!!!!
Cheers, K
