Zozee, you know you can do either or both blocks, or make two of one block, whatever you'd like. But it's always good to challenge ourselves to do something different, soooo..

Jannie, if you will go to the thread under HOME, Block of the Month & Week, New quilting bee 2017 you will find January's blocks.. The first is on the first page, "Album Frame" , then on page 7, #137 is the second block "Spinning Blades". These are all 10" blocks, finished. These are your blocks to keep, make one or both. It started out that we'd do one block a month, but so many finished early, thought I'd throw in another block. Welcome & have fun, post pictures and chat..

    Jean

I accidentally posted mine in last months section. I listed a few tips I used when making them. Have fun!

I love the blocks that Oksewnsew made. The colors are bright and spring looking. Great Job.

Some great looking blocks here. Angie, aka Sauki1, Thanks for posting the Grandmother's Favorite block in just the 3 colors. I, also, have a limited palette in my primary fabric and really don't want to go outside those colors. I like how you used the colors. I, also, need to keep my primary fabric as the larger piece because the pattern on the fabric is really too big for this project.

Thanks Barb for pointing this out. I love the color combinations so far, but didn't think about the fact that this set was done in just three colors as I was looking at the pattern more than the colors. By making me more aware of the colors I think it will help me in deciding what I want to do with mine.

Here are my February blocks...I am working with a pack of FQs that are in blues, greens and whites. These look good with the ones I made last month.
