    Default My best binding ever

We finished Molly's quilt a couple of weeks ago, but we were never happy with the binding. When we posted it, we purposely didn't include pictures of the binding.

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t285807.html

I have read and watched videos and even taken a class, but I could never get the binding to look like I wanted. I think I have finally nailed down all the details, and this is the first quilt I practiced on. It took forever to take the original binding off last night, and today I put the new one on. Kim wants me to document everything I did, so I may do a tutorial for it. I know I'm not the only one who is too impatient to hand stitch a binding on but has been unhappy with all-machine sewn bindings.

If anyone is interested in a tutorial, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Darren

Yes please! That is one of the things I dislike doing (hand sewing down the binding) and since it is the last thing to be done, I put it off for as long as I can. Maybe if I could watch TV and sew at the same time, I wouldn't dislike it so much .... but I can't! So I for one will be watching for your tutorial. Thanks in advance!

I will be watching for your tutorial. I'll be taking my third class on binding later this week. On a good note I can now do two corners pretty well. The other two are always kinda round. Of course in class it always works for me but when I try on my own I always have problems. LOL.

Your binding looks great and very neat as well. I would be interested to know how you did it. Thank you for sharing.
