Angelia, that is absolutely beautiful with the blue and gold! Congratulations on the finish ~ I admire all of you that did the entire 16 blocks!

Angelia, that's so beautiful! Congratulations! The green binding was a great choice.

In my case, the pumpkin is too close in value to the green and the blue - which made for a muddy mess in the center with the star not showing at all. I am pleased with how the block looks with this change.

I just realized that the 4-patches in my sashing (in my case, blue) are ALL sideways. Where Bonnie's are dark squares, mine are light and vice versa. I'm trying to decide if this is really a problem and they all need to be changed, or if it really doesn't make any difference. Correcting them wouldn't be as much of a hassle if I hadn't sewn over half immediately after doing some paper piecing and without changing stitch length. Taking those seams out, with tiny stitches, would be a pain in the neck. What are your thoughts?

    Peace and Joy,

Really like the way you changed the 3" yellow block. I never liked those plain squares, but have it all sewn together and am not going to change them all. I'm still not too crazy about this quilt, if I loved it I would do so. LOL but love your block, colors are so lovely.

I finished my En Provence top today (including the wretched job of clipping the threads on the back)! I'll take a photo tomorrow, if the sun is shining.

Now I can get back to work on my second colorway. I bought the Deb Tucker V-block trimmer, so am excited about getting more consistent units for clues 2 and 4. I'm hoping that might speed up assembly somewhat the second time around.

    Lisa,
I LOVE, love your top and especially that hint of purple in the border. You did an amazing job! I don't remember your other color pathway - is it totally different?
