Thanks, Krista. I don't think I really like scrappy either. I do like samplers, but my quilt doesn't seem to have a focus. I'll finish it and consider it lesson learned. After all if you are running past it at 50 mph on the back or a wild horse, maybe you won't notice all the imperfections.

Battle Axe, I think it looks great. I wouldn't change anything. Once all the blocks are together I think it will flow lovely.
Sorry to hear about your Dad's color blindness; I can understand how that would scar one in color choices. Color can be a hard thing for some.

Here's what I did with my some of the purple units after I decide not to complete En Provence. Photo taken at a retreat. After seeing the pic I found some blocks in the wrong spot and did some ripping and rearranging.
We were wearing our "Easter bonnets" during Show and Tell so that is a Fold n Stitch wreath on my head LOL.

Kathy, that's so pretty, and I think it's great that you followed through and did something with the pieces! Love the bonnet!

You look totally fab in your Easter Bonnet. Glad you were able to re-purpose the purple.

Battle axe, I think some of the purple 4 patches are turned wrong. The lights go a certain way. The dark purple corner with the half square blocks. Your colors are beautiful. I'm still working on mine too.

Whew! MQ top is done!!! I love it!
I was able to keep up with all the clues fine so here's the reason it's so late in getting here. I got pregnant last winter, and for some odd reason the green colors actually made my morning sickness worst! I've never heard of anything like it and felt pretty stupid. I couldn't work on it for a couple of months.
But here is the top, finally finished! I hope this baby will grow to love it, cause the thought of it sure made mama gag! Which is odd, because I think it is probably the loveliest quilt I've made yet.
