I like the second one as it appears balanced with the colors and placement of squares. I agree that a circular quilting pattern would be most pleasing. But, I wonder about spirals from one square to another to enhance movement.

I like the second one for the balance of the black, but do not care for the Row look of it. I'd be drawn to doing the embroidered black for all of the outside black blocks, and the bullseye only for the center. Then I'd quilt it with a single motif that is centered over the bullseye and is symmetrical, maybe divided up into four or 8 repeating wedges.

I like the first one better.

I think the first one is more interesting.
I agree with the concentric circles idea for quilting it.
Which ever setting you, it is a lovely quilt.

My mind went to this youtube link where she quilts using stencils. I think this would look nice in your blocks.

Whether you decide on #1 or #2 (aren't you glad you asked), I would definitely quilt as phranny suggested with the link. There are already lots of circles in the quilt so to me doing something different would be great in the blocks. Either way you decide, it's quite a stunning quilt.

I would pick the first one and quilt it with overlapping circles of different sizes.

The second has a better balance. BUT, if you prefer the first one because of the single black in the center, perhaps you could swap the 'solid' circle in the upper right corner with the 'thinner' circle that is directly left of the center. This way the center row would have more bold center and maybe appear more balanced. As for quilting, if the squares are small enough, I would probably just do an echo around the outside of the circle. Either a variegated to match the print on all or use a black on the black. I really like the circles on the black, very different.

I go with Jingle. BTW, I love those quilt blocks, it will be just beautiful no matter which/what you choose. Is there a pattern/how did you make those blocks? Looks like you may have done it with a circular foot attachment, but not sure. Sure would love to know; I love how it looks.

I like the second one, it just catches my eye. I would quilt concentric circles, centered on the intersections, not on the circles themselves.

The first one doesn't look over arranged. I like it best. I don't think I'd want to quilt over the circles. Maybe pebbles around the outside of the circles and 2 or 3 concentric circles.
