Awww, I missed this one. But I had a good excuse, I was camping in Shipshewana with some friends - AND I got to shop for fabrics all weekend! Boy is my credit card smoking LOL!
Lolly's, Yoders, Zincks, Cotton Corner, Calico Point all got some of my $$$.

I started this Rainbow Rail Fence as a lender/ender from Bonnie Hunter this year, although I chose not to add in the checkerboard. I had the blocks completed so decided to put them together today to just get them done! It will be a care quilt when completed. I have really enjoyed seeing all the pictures, thank you everyone for sharing.

I've been sewing like crazy! Finished a bunting and some coasters. String pieced some various squares which will probably become mug rugs or coasters. Pieced a fall table runner. And I'm still making progress on 2 hand quilting projects. Trying to get some finished for my "shop" and one of the hand quilting projects is for a November birthday. Here are a few pics...

I actually got to quilt this weekend! Came home from the Guild workshop (I was teacher helper as it's was on using DSM to quilt--excellent teacher Mary Honas of 1st Rate Designs) and DH had put back all the furniture in the basement that was piled up while we ripped out carpet! All the record albums & book back on the shelves and I once again had my quilting studio--just bare concrete floor and still will need to do something with it, but after what we had, this was bliss! So quilted a lap quilt for customer--will get a picture tomorrow AM and post it.
As always--everyone's work is great! Always amazed at how much people get accomplished too. And like Rob, send some of that apple crisp virtually my way, Cathy! Rob--I must be thinking food, cause the bat pieces on your art quilt are reminding me of vanilla bean pods!

The progress several of you are making is great.
Well my progress is rather slow. I am making some progress on my sewing room organization. I sewed some on my scarecrow wall hanging. Tomorrow I will complete the quilting. I got my 2 quilt tops ready to take to my LAQ on Wednesday. I went to Joann's and bought notions, blades, thread, plastic container. Got supplies together to work on projects tomorrow. I plan out a charity quilt top. I need to make 6 more blocks. I hope to have the top pieced tomorrow. I also got 2-3 projects together for my retreat. So in other words a lot of planning, no actual sewing. Good news, I have all of tomorrow to work on these projects. Hopefully I will have some pics tomorrow. Hopefully the I-pad will post my pics.
Happy sewing/quilting everyone.

Theresa, my class was very basic. I bought the bernina ruler foot and the class was free. We watched a video from Bernina and learned how to adjust our machines for ruler work. Bernina has a great panel that we were able to practice on with many of the rulers. I have a Bernina 750 QE DSM and bought a parr free motion quilting ruler. (Bernina ruler set is on back order). Amanda Murphy ruler work videos were recommended. I'm looking forward to learning much more on ruler quilting. On line videos will be my go to method of learning. And practice! It's awesome that you dont have to turn your quilt, just move the rulers.
