    Love the black!

I pulled a bunch of traditional-style florals/calicos from my 2-1/2" square stash, and used those for my squares. They're sewn, but I still need to i-ron them. Hopefully I can get to that this evening. Too many projects going on at once!

I don't know much about Bonnie Hunter but I love the way she does the seams. I tried it and it worked great so thanks to the person who mentioned it. I think it was Judy.

Just trying to use the units that are already made, however, I also have a collection of scraps like many of you. Opinions please. -- Also, this is my first mystery quilt.
If you have enough, and you like the colors together (personally, I think those colors are beautiful) go for it. Just know that you will need more fabric for a future clue. And glad to have you on our mystery.

a couple of you have mentioned ugly fabrics. I believe it was Eleanor Burns that said, if an ugly fabric is cut small enough, it loses its ugliness.

I have tons of scraps too. Can someone please tell me where the directions are posted. I have no idea where to go to get the instructions. Can't wait to start.

The instructions are on page 5, posting #111 by paintmejudy, and then she has a correction on the next page, page six, posting #129.

Thanks so much for leading me in the right direction, I appreciate it. Its snowing like crazy in Boston now. I am hoping to leave work soon, go home and start going thru my scraps to start the quilt.

I finished my 4 patches yesterday, they are all done using my batik scraps. It's been rainy all day so doubt that I can get a good picture. Now comes the hard part...waiting for the next clue!
