Ok ladies i am having flashbacks of the last swap. We will go with what is stated in the announcement the color of cream, as stated cream may look different to everyone. Please use your best judgement in choosing your background fabric. I would hate for anyone to have to buy any fabric, i would prefer you to have to shop in your stash.

Maxie, the wonky start is not paper pieced. I have not tried paper piecing; it is on my list of things that I need to learn. It is from one of the tutorials that rbwiese posted in the churn dash thread. I thought it was interesting because it turns out slightly different every time you make it.

I LOVE the color palette also, listing autumn colors. Yes, these shades of tanish (is that a word) and hot chocolate background would play well with each other’s swapped blocks. Mother Nature always shows the best color scheme.

Here is a picture of the fall leaves fabric I mentioned. I do have fall colored fabric also, lots of it. You won't be hurting my feelings if you decided for me to not use the leaves fabric. I want my blocks to look great with everyone else's blocks.
