Speaking of kitties.....mine hid last night and got locked in the garage. She was underfoot all day. No hiding today. Lol!

These kittens are so precious I could eat them up!!! But they have been keeping me busy but "happy busy". They are so funny. I have a screen door to my sewing room which is great because I don't like to be in there with the door shut for many reasons. My husband put one on years ago and I love it.

A screen door to the sewing room is a great idea! My current room is open, so no doorway. I keep my fabric in a separate room, and the cats love sneaking in to find nice places to nap.

I have one cat that loves to hang around with me when I sewing. The bad part is when I'm working on the cutting table, she likes to sleep right at my feet.

Finished the top. Added two borders and used 4 of my extra 4 patches in the corners. May make a matching pillow with the rest. I bought some bright orange backing at $5.00/metre on sale as well.

Here is my batik/black top. I took off the 6th row, and I guess the top liked it because I did a lot more ripping to get the border on correctly.

Now to add it to my growing pile of floppies waiting for backing.
