I already posted my three blocks that I made from a layer cake, but a couple of people were wondering how many squares I was going to be able to get from it. I think I will have enough to get nine squares out of the 10" layer cake. That doesn't include the white or the black, which were from yardage. So...a very small quilt indeed, or a very long table runner.

Thanks again Judy. And I have another layer cake that might work for the next one???????? Ah, the mystery of it all.

whitepine - i really love your colors. Nine blocks would make a great wall hanging, too.

Susie to leave feedback click on her number of feedback score. It's in green under her avatar. Right now it says 43. A screen opens and on the right it says leave feedback. click on that and just follow it. It's easy and only takes a few seconds. Whitepine a very pretty block.

I just packed my bag for my guild's retreat and quess what I am taking.... Humm, humm. humm? Yes! My version of our mystery quilt. All pieces cut, need to put together enough for 4 more blocks, lay them out, sew them together and add the sashing. I want to get'er done and then on to a UFO and a batik square in a square made of scraps. I have high hopes for this retreat. It has been a fun ride with all of you. I will likely lurk for the next mystery. It is getting close to the end of the semester and I need to keep my nose to the computer and grading.

I only need to sew down the binding on #18--yay! I'll be ready for #19 when it begins--I wasn't sure I was going to get this one finished in time for the next.

Is #19 scrappy, or has that been announced yet? I guess I'll find out tomorrow!

    Thanks, Judy.
