    I would frame it first with a small one inch cut border...black...is always good..give the eye someplace to rest since the eye has so much to look at...dark brown would be good too! Then I would use one of your colors that you used in quilt. Nothing pale because it will look washed out. I like the gold used on right side house roof..something bright and cheery. A pale yellow or white would wash it out. if you have enough left over fabrics you could make a piano key border as well. If not, I definitely like the idea someone else said of a scrappy binding! Just put the pattern in my Craftsy cart...thanks for sharing!

    I always like to frame projects like that with something that makes the colors pop. I am partial to dark frames

    I love your wonky houses. I'd quilt with outlining the houses, windows, clouds, trees and grass. I'd be tempted to do a light blue border on top and sides, then maybe a green border on all 4 sides.

    Thanks everyone. Took it to the local fabric shop today where we pulled out lots of different fabric options! Think I've decided but will post back when done. Quilting round the houses and main features was my original plan too so will prob stick with that
