I'm so opinionated. I've been a snob about polka dots. Angelia, it's wonderful and so happy.

Thank you ladies for the kind comments - the shirt quilts do bring lots of healing memories. I think the next one will be a flannel rag quilt, but in the meantime I am struggling through On Ringo Lake. I had set it aside for a season and now trying to reorient myself to the process. Whew, it is a busy and labor intensive pattern!

Hi everyone that did this mystery, how did you quilt the blocks? I have a LA and have no problem coming up with the border and the sashing ideas and I am trying different patterns then I have in the past. (always learning something new or practicing that is.) BUT what to do on the star blocks??? I love to do free motion freehand feathers, hearts, swirls, flowers, leaves, paisley teardrops. BUT I can't seem to figure out what to do with these!!! I do not like to stitch in the ditch and don't want to do each little 2 inch block. Any suggestions?

I had to stitch 1/4"away from seams. I tried free motion quilting but I have a new machine & wasn't used to it yet. I had to rip out 3 blocks because it looked so bad. Lol Then I went back & stitched 1/4" away.

Good question! I just finished mine last evening. I was considering an edge to edge just get'r done. Or a simple meander.

I would love to see some finished quilts as well as the finished tops. It is always inspirational.

Previously I mentioned my quilt would be raffled for a family with medical bills. I wanted to let you all know I raised over $900 for this family. Judy thank you so much for doing this you were instrumental in that $900.
