How do I get a cat urine stain out of the white part of a quilt?

I use a product called "Eco 88". Its an enzyme product and I've had it take urine and feces stains from the dogs out of fabrics really well. It's even taken stains out of my carpet that had been there for years.

The best I have found are the MisterMax products. I haven't tried their stain remover, but the P-Bath and Anti Icky Poo have worked better than anything else on our carpets. Here are links to the products on Amazon:

You might be able to get away with using just the Stain Remover. If that doesn't work, I would get the other products and do their 3-step process: P-Bath for awhile, then Anti Icky Poo, then the Stain Remover.

When odor is a problem in fabric, the best thing I have found is the powdered version of OdorZOut, which I add to the washing machine laundry. Just don't use the granular version of this product in the washing machine; it needs to be the powdered version. Here is a link to that, although you probably don't need it for a single stain:

This works for other odors as well, including "old clothes from the thrift shop" type of odor. It is most effective when combined with some Borax in the wash load.

The only drawback is that you need to use gloves with it to protect your hands. The MisterMax products do not require gloves.

Having had a problem cat for 12 years I've always used Natures Miracle products. You can find them in most pet shops and now Walmart carries at least their spray. It's worked for me to remove the smell and stains from just about everything - clothing, blankets/quilts, carpets, a mattress, car seat cover, baby swing, etc.

We really do love the little creatures to put up with that for that long, don't we?!

I had a white cat that could put urine deposits in places that I did not think he could access with that end of his body!

Mr too, and its found in a lit of grocery stores in the pet department. Been using it for years! Resolve is another one.

It's pricey, but even works on stains that are old. Our kitty used some quilts for her bathroom and I didn't have a clue. So I ordered Retro Clean. It took the old stain out and the smell. It needs the sun to work well, but it works. I used a plastic storage tub and put it out on a sunny day. Of course, kitty picked the most elaborate quilts to use!

"Urine Out" can be found at some Vets offices, comes in a cat or dog formula. Products that contain "enzymes" are needed to be effective. Urine out on it's own smells horrible, the good thing is, I have found it to be effective more so than other products. For other pet messes I have found at Walmart; Bissell Pet Pretreat and Sanitize.

I had a quilt that was not only peed on by my kitty, but then somehow put in storage for over 5 years. When I pulled it out, the smell was eye-watering. I was positive it was ruined, and almost threw it away. I was pretty upset since it was a siggy quilt with blocks from quilters all around the world, so I decided to try washing it with Arm & Hammer Washing Soda and Borax. To my amazement, Not only was the smell gone, but so was the stain!
