    Wow quiltinlee - That looks soooo realistic, love it!!

    Did you know that this character originates from the U.K. but we know him as Thomas the Tank Engine, and my son who is now 24 absolutely loved him.....so you have brought back lots of fond memories...I made him a cake for his 3rd birthday, just like your image, it took me hours and I never noticed until after we had the photographs developed, that 'some little person' had been up and taken a 'bite' out of his front wheel!! Perfect set of tooth prints as evidence could be seen on the picture lol!!!

    Hello QuiltinLee. What an achievment for a little boy with a broken leg. Hope he loves it to bits. Because the borders are so busy how about just doing a zigzag. This perhaps would illustrate the way rail lines go across country, not aleays being in a straight line.

    Right now I'm doing little trains in the yellow and red sashing. The train tracks is a wonderful idea! Thank you!!
