Default Charity soft dolls and critters

I found this site today for Charity Softies. The site will need to be translated, but you should have that option available to you in Google. I notice some of the patterns appear in tiny block links at the bottom of the entry. Click (or Right Click to open in a new tab) to enlarge the pattern.

Year ago, I made a tops turvy doll like that. I did not have a patternfor it. I just took two of the same doll patterns (I traced them off one doll pattern) and cut the body piece in half and joined the two upper pieces. For the dress, I made two dress tops, and two skirts and instead of hemming the skirts, I pressed to hems over 1/2”, and sewed them to each other. Instead of snaps or buttons, I hand stitched then closed so they did not come off. My DD drug that thing everywhere. Hers was a “dog” on one end and a “cat” on the other.

Thanks for sharing. I like madamekelly's idea of dog and cat . . . that's something I could make for a little one.
