The scraps would make fun little pillows or zipper pouches.

I used the extra strips to trim a bag to carry the quilt.

I'm with Onebyone. I HATE Minkee and don't EVER want it in my house again. I hate all the fuzz it creates, and the fuzzy mess it makes of the sewing machine. I made my 3 DGDs robes with it, and by the time I was done, every little and big scrap went straight into the trash can.

I save them to use in easy to make quilts. Combine them with color friendly cotton or flannel 3 or 4 inch squares. They are great in baby blankets or lap blankets for someone in a wheelchair.

Patchwork them together to create the back ( or front) of another quilt.

I am going to use my long scraps of minkie to make neck scarves on my serger. Stitch them lengthwise, then turn right side out and close the ends leaving strings hanging. The stuff little girls love to wear, soft and fluffy.

One of our Project Linus members appliques them in different shapes (circles, squares, etc.) on baby and toddler quilts for a textural change. I think the little ones really like the soft feel, and the Minkee with dot bumps would be fun for them to touch.

Lightbulb burp cloths ,changing pads , and small animal quilts made with minky

Here are a few photos of how I used my minky scraps. The small animal quilts are a guild service project for policemen to have in their trunks to give to children in stressful situations. Have fun with your scraps!

Wow! Those are so cute. Thanks for posting the pictures. I guess I need more minkie scraps now instead of less.

I have used the scraps with my Accuquilt rag die to make a rag quilt. I used two layers of flannel and one layer of minkie. Although it is a scrappy quilt with all the leftovers, it is the first thing my grandson grabs to cuddle with.
