    Here is my turkey. I'm leaving him unframed until assembly when all the blocks are revealed...I'm now caught up and can work on December's cow.. Have to think about it for a bit, tho...

    Great Tom turkey. I also have Tom and Bessy left. Not sure if I am going to do Tom or my version. He's cute, but... there's just something I don't like. Did you needleturn Tom and his feathers?

    It is turned edge and machine sewed.....not needle turn. I don't really enjoy the hand-work of needle turn applique.

    I used glue on this one. I typically use stabilizer but with all the pieces on him it would be too stiff to my liking even after hollowing out stabilizer...so I used freezer paper templates then just removed when edges turned and pressed. I also shrunk this pattern down 20% because I wanted a 10 1/2 block for my layout...
