You are really on a roll, Judith! I love it! Are you using invisible thread for your applique or are you hand applique everything? It looks so fine!

Hi NZ, I'm going to machine applique. I haven't sewed anything down yet. I'm going to do it all as a Quilt-As-You-Go. The little quilt on the fence is birthed. And, last night, I "tied" the little quilt rather then machine quilted it.

My Sunflower incorporation is not going to work. I can't get the sunflowers small enough. I'm going to give it one more try to make them smaller. But, I'm going to have to re-think or re-imagine the block above just a little bit. I don't know with what yet. But, we'll see what happens.

Let me just say, I liked making the mini Dresden's with the mini Dresden ruler. It was easier then the full size Dresden. (No puckers.) That being said, I could not for the life of me get them to come out smaller without major problems. I've officially given up on them and moved on for now. So, which block do you like better?

    This one????

    Or, this one?????

I like how they both came out. So, I'm not fussed either way. Just curious as to what yall think.

I think I know what I'm going to do with this one. I think a pair of Alpaca's are going to come into play.

They both look great, but I really love the second one.

I vote for the second picture of the single sunflower. It fits the theme better and is just so stinkin' cute!

The second sunflower is so cute with the patchwork border! That's my vote. I love your yoyo centers. Looking forward to seeing a pair of Alpacas!

I'd like to see the bottom picture with the flower dropped down to have it off the top border or turn the flower to get it away from the yellow in the border.

    Is this better placement?

Thank you. You all picked my favorite block also. I wanted to bring in more patchwork. And, the second one does the job.
