it is going to be a fabulous quilt. Those animal designs and fabrics are perfect together. I've seen animal print fabrics and didn't know how to work them into a project.

    Thanks for some beautiful inspiration!

Hi Rhonda K Most people use window effect with dividers as looking through to outside-inside ...I like a different outcome and hopefully, it can be unique in design..I would embroider in preference to using a print...but each to their own
Have a nice day .... Zoo

That is turning out nicely. I do love the curved sewing, and the animal prints border tie it all nicely. I've managed to collect quite a bit of animal print fabric, it just appeals to me.

Hi Cathy I'm really partial to animal fur-skin print ..I would embroider it but it would take days to do just one of the skins...has taken a new learning experience sewing around the curves..have had to unpick some and try again but I'm getting the hang of it.
Have an Africa plains scene in mind with tribal markings

Hi lorimax5859 The article on this embroidery panel quilt - My very own Zoo - in from magazine Exciting Machine Embroidery &Textile Art Vol20 #12 This would not have been circulated in the USA and is about 15 years old....I have been slow to complete this embroidery quilt as we have been lockdown in our State with Covid and haven't been able to get fabrics to finish the quilt Zoo

Hi Jean...The Sue Box embroidery files only do the centerpiece..The extra animal skins and embroidery panels, the terracotta surround is diamond quilted finish are separate as the project as is produced by the article in the magazine..I would recommend purchasing the Sue Box PFD for the cutout of shapes makes it a lot easy to get it right. When you purchase the files there are some that are not in the download you will have to look on the site to find them as a free download.....The files should contain animals-boarder files -African designs-foliage ect .
