    Need advice. Fell in love with Jennys , Aunt Mays Economy Block quilt. I have more than enough four patches already made. Do you think it would work if I sorted pinks reds etc. And chose a coordinating almost the same color fabric to make the 1.25 x 3.5 inch strips or should I just start from the beginning.

    I'd audition the fabric, step back, and see what it looks like or make one test block. For me it' easier to make one block to see if what my brain wants to do and compare it with a fnished block. Just a slggeston, or two.

    That would work fine. Jenny Doan used the same fabric as she used precuts and that used most of the cuts Using different colors would look great

    spent the weekend making blocks and it worked. Boy they are time consuming. Finally got some organizing done, should got a bit faster from now on.
