    Default Flying home

My sister just solved my problem. She said this was the quilt from a book by Pam bono that got wet. Mom tried to dry out and save the pages she could. That is why I did not have all the info, some pages just stuck together, my quilt won,t be exactly like Mom’s but it will be a good reminder of her. She made it her way and now I am making it my way. Thank you for all the help. Carol

Happy to know your mystery is solved. What a nice memory to have of both your mom and you. Once complete wrap yourself in a warm hug from mom.

I wanted to put out a thank you for this thread. I loved the picture of the quilt, so I looked up the book...and discovered I actually have it! I made the dinosaur pattern, but hadn't really noticed Flying Home. I may try to create a paper-piecing pattern for the big flying goose...that's too many little parts for me.
