    Exquisite cabinet and machine and thank you for sharing the story as well. I agree with you, the vintage sewing machine community is extraordinary. Without this community I wouldn't have been able to restore any of my machines.

    I'm very curious, is the wheel made of wood or is it iron with a faux-wood finish?

    I'm so pleased to have found your blog. What a great save on the drawing room cabinet. I was blessed to have found one intact at our local Habitat For Humanity resale store.
