Where can I find polished cotton?
I have searched the net and can't find any. My daughter found some at Malouf's in Texas and they have a website but that isn't listed on the site. Does anyone know of a site I can order polished cotton from? It is also called cotton sateen.

I think part of the answer is what/why you are looking for polished/sateen? Do you just like the look and feel of the cloth? Are you trying for a historical period piece? Do you want solids? Some forms of Chintz are considered polished (the top with a top coat).
I started quilting with a Ruby McKim 101 Pachwork book, those were some of the newspaper patterns and often mentioned sateen as a fabric option, I think of it as 30s era sort of thing. If you are looking at solids, maybe a 80/20ish cotton poly blend might give the look you want.
