    Default All About Bears

In the early 2000’s I started collecting these patterns by Dorothy Baker as we traveled across Canada. I hand appliquéd and hand quilted it, just finishing in January. I only worked on it while visiting with my quilt group every two weeks while doing the appliqué. It is queen size, and I did alter the sashings and borders from her designs. This winter when we had a few days of snow I sat and hand quilted for the most part of three days to finish it off. I have a young GD and what better time to have these teddies on the bed!

Thanks ladies, I am happy each time I walk past the room and look in. It was just like playing cut out dolls choosing all their outfits.

That is a darling quilt! And I'm always in awe of anyone who hand quilts.
