I got two more candy packages yesterday! One is from Happylab, and the other doesn't have a name but says it's from W. Sac, CA ?

Looking forward to having a birthday candy bash!! And I am taking the whole week off for my birthday, so I'll be having an epic sewing week!

Logcabin82, the mystery package is from Hav4boys.

Heathermom2opmc, I have seen the kitty before but I have not made it. The lay out for in the photo is different from most! Grab that graph paper and sketch it out for us. I would make one in honor of my kitty obsession.

What a crazy day here in the mitten. Twenty-four hours of some king of rain, drizzle, mist and cold. Like low to mid 40's. The kind of weather that drives you inside wishing for a crackling fire and a cup of tea!. This afternoon the clouds blew off, literally with 20 MPH "breezes". The oak trees have finally lost their leaves from last fall. Looking forward to the weekend and a return to the 60's.

SBG, enjoy your trip to the quilt show tomorrow and happy birthday shopping!

Good morning. Just a quick check in to say hello on this beautiful morning! I’m about to head out for an early walk. Today’s plan is to piece a flannel top for hubby (a surprise) and enjoy the sunshine when it warms up a bit. I’m thinking about those darling candy cats! I might have to make a small quilt for my youngest granddaughter with them.

    Enjoy your day!

Charmed by the name Candy Cats. Purrrrrfect!

My day will be church, potluck lunch and then quilting on a finished project that has been lingering in my pile of "To Do's". Although I have lots of projects on my work table, I need that good feeling of sanctification one gets when a quilt is finished. It always serves as encouragement to "get'r done". I can do it.

Good morning ladies! I woke up this morning in MI, and at 11am it was 72 degrees out! It is beautiful out. I may need to move my sewing projects to the porch to enjoy the great day? Do any of you have a porch that you can sew your projects on?

Our screened porch is quite small but I’ve taken handwork out there on a nice day. I envy you a bit if you’ve got enough room for a machine setup out there. Enjoy it!

I started crocheting a cotton shawl. I may take that outside to the porch to sit and work on it....
