    All your scrappies are beautiful.
I just checked out a scrappy book at the Library that is a quilt as you go and a deco stitch book.
It is called "Crazy Shotcut Quilts" by McManus and Raffuse.
The instructions for connecting the squares was confusing, I really need to see videos to get the concept. I know it calls for separate sashing strips for the front and back but how to connect them I did not understand. The book uses fat quarters cut up to make large blocks.

I'm so glad to see this thread today. All of the photos are great! Here is my problem though- I have bunches of SOLID scraps and hardly any prints. Any ideas on how solids can be brought together?

i think a true quilt is a scrappy quilt ,when you think about it in the old day most quilter,s could not buy fabrics so they used fabric,s from old used clothes and they put those old fabric,s to good use like make beaiitful quilts, they were going green recycling fabric

KS crafter, I'd do the same thing with solids, either throw em' all together , or make it more 'planned', putting like colors near each other...
Alycia,; thanks... that's my little ( 55lbs) greyhound Calico

    BEAUTIFUL!
I love the idea of tossing the squares in a brown bag and just picking some up without looking. :D

    You sound like me!
I've been tempted to do this quite a few times.
I'm not one that coordinate colors easily.
Scrappy is best for me. :-D

You could always do an "Around the world" pattern.
