You are are not alone. Yesterday I was sewing borders onto fussy cut 3" squares and about half way through I noticed that I had about half of the completed ones sewn with the borders with the wrong side of the fabric showing. What was I thinking? (obviously I wasn't thinking, lol)

My current project is undoing half a full size quilt top that did not go together right AT ALL. Am discovering that my squares are not really square and on top of that are not all the same size either. At least the pieces are big...8" centers with two 2" wide log cabin borders. Was advised earlier by the good folk on this board that I never should have tried to do a log cabin out of corduroy in the first place!

When I have a big section to "unsew", I usually try and move to a comfortable chair, put on my ear phones with some of my favorite tunes and relax as the seams fall away. Sometimes it's a well needed break from hunching over my machine. I don't like it, but I make it as enjoyable as I can.

"UnSewing" "UnQuilting" and "frog stitches". I'll have to see what they call it at the Quilt Guild I joined a month ago. The Quilting Forum ladies crack me up! Some of your messages make me laugh out loud! My Mom is an invalid with Advanced Dementia so I really appreciate ya'll giving me a laugh. Before I retired I tried to go to the Quilt Show each year and now that I can go to the meetings, I am meeting the nicest ladies. And I've been to two Quilt Shops in the Birmingham area and loved the "eye candy". I didn't renew the QCA because I am finding so much more here. Thanks!
