I think I had 4 meters of fabric when I started and have nothing left. Used every piece of it! This was fabric that had been sitting in the closet waiting for the perfect pattern so I am not really sure how much was there. I really had a hard time cutting it up until I got the first cut done then I figured Oh, well, done now....

Thanks everyone for your very kind remarks.

You and your Lions eye fabric are what ignited me to get started on my first OBW. And today I sealed a deal to purchase a short arm quilting set up. Thank you for sharing your creativitiy.

Thank ou Wini! I am so green with envy about your short arm quilting set up. Enjoy! Will be watching for pictures of your OBW too.

SandiMac I think I had four meters of fabric. I only had enough to do the 6 repeats.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

I don't think anyone can see the "could be improved" parts! Awesome, lovely, breathtaking quilt!

I was so taken with your quilt that I did find (after a 1/12 week search) the fabric in the sepia. I got 5 yds so I should have enough to put some of the original fabric on the back as a comparison. Not sure but it should be about #7 in the line of fabrics I have chosen. Not sure I will be able to do any thing as beautiful as yours but your inspiration will help.
As for my quilting system, I really should pay other bills but the price was too good to pass up and expect to find again. LOL

This is beautiful, My home is done on this theme and have made several Jungle animal quilts, I have my fabric and am going to copy you. You know when some one copies it is really a form of flattery. Great job Evelyn 1

This is an absolutely beautiful quilt. I hope you don't mind if I use some of your ideas!
