I am thinking about ordering my fabric on line for my next quilt. What on-line site do you use for the best price.

I use Eleanor Burns site Quilt in a Day and also www.ethelbird.com
Both sites had good service and quality fabric. Marge

I use keepsakequilting.com because their colors are true. I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting their catalog and browse it repeatedly. The colors of the fabric are EXACTLY as printed. I have never been disappointed. Now I admit that they are not exactly inexpensive, but for that "special" yard I'm willing to spend a little more.

I have ordered many times from Connecting Threads, Fabric.com, Thousands of Bolts, Z and S Fabrics, Fickle Pickle, Fat Quarter Shop, Hayloft Fabrics ....You might say I am an internet shopaholic when it comes to fabric. I have received quick shipping and excellent service from all of them. And, they all usually have some sales going on, which doesn't help my wallet much because that just makes me spend more.

I highly recommend Desperate Quilters. There is a thread here:

http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/17614.page

that discusses their site.

I, too, have shopped at Thousands of Bolts. They label each cut you receive with the name of the fabric, etc. so there will be no confusion. Check the current thread about them on HGTV here:

http://boards.hgtv.com/eve/forums/a/...2/m/4201058893

Fickle Pickle is great, Connecting Threads is great in customer service, as is Fabric Buffet. The only site I would not recommend is Bear Creek Quilting. I'm in the middle of a problem right now, and although it is "resolved," I'm not at all happy with the frustration that I had to endure.

Any of the shops on www.quiltshops.com.

www.sewbatik.com for (obviously) batiks, including extra wide and flannel.

http://www.christianlanequilters.cit...ebackings.html for fatbacks and wide backings.

Fabric.com and Thousandsofbolts.com are very good.

bugfabric.com for all kinds of fun creatures.

Connecting threads is my favorite, but if you are looking for a special fabric check out Ebay. They have everything.

Boy Oh Boy
Did I have the fun shopping this evening. I went to Connecting Threads and after much looking and He Hawing around I decided on the materials for the Burgoyne Surrounded Quilt.

Just to share my choices; I went with a DK. Rust leaves for the Trail... Mosaic Swirls in LT green for the Wheels... A Cream for the Background. and also picked up[ the backing in a Feathered Leaves Dark Green.

I would not have found a better price any where around here. Also received free postage. So I am smiling

Thanks again
