Anything by Eleanor Burns -- Still Stripping is an awesome book! (although, my husband giggles every time he sees the title)

The Border Book- by Janet Kime- amazing borders with directions telling you how to make them fit your quilt which I think is the most important part.

I just looked it up on Amazon and think this is the same book that has a tenth anniversary edition on sale right now for $16.47.

That is my go to book too for the charts...setting squares, triangles, etc. I have too many other books to really have a "favorite"...but I love sitting in the evening with a pile of books on my lap to browse through and get inspired by.

My favorite books is Quick Quilts from Your Scrap Bag, by Leisure Arts. I have made several quilts from it, and they have become dearly loved heirlooms. To me, nothing is more beautiful that a scrap quilt.

I haven't been quilting long enough to have a favorite book!

I agree, any book by El Burns especially the ones that are sampler quilts with all different blocks. Ive got many of her books but noticed the newer ones are doing harder blocks. Both Victory Quilts and Blocks on Barns are for more advanced quilters.
Also your local library has quilting books to check out.

Joy of Quilting by Joan Hanson. It has excellent instructions for several techniques and it gives yardage and measurements for several sizes for each quilt.

I use the BH&G all the time and the Quilting Bible. For the most information on all things even remotely "quilty" has to be The Quilter's Catalog by Meg Cox and as an educator I love E. Burns her explanations are complete but concise.

I have two favorites. #1 Better homes and gardens complete guide to quilting and #2 I think it's called Black Mountain Quilts. My goal is to someday make each of the quilts in that book. they are amazing. beautiful.

I recently joined crafters choice book club because I could get 4 quilt books for a $1! I got one called Wonky Quilts which is now my new favorite because they are so easy to make and so stunning it looks like it took years to make when it is actually only a simple cut to an easy block! I just love it and cant wait to make them all :) I need more beds!!
