All I could say was "Ha! Ha!" -

while it might be an antique, it is not in good working order, so how can you ask for a good working machine in exchange for what some would call junk? On the other hand, the saying goes "one man's junk is another man's treasure!" and obviously the "seller" is trying to find the treasure.
