goodbye present for my foster son

wow I am overwhelmed by the response to this post, I am sitting here reading your replies with a box of kleenex. For those of you who have asked, yes we would adopt him, but he is not available for adoption (yet). Until then he will gon into kinship care (with a friend of the family) I know that he loves these people and they love him too, what makes it hard for me is that he is going back into an enviroment that is not much better than what he was taken from, and he is doing so well here in all areas of everyday life. I have to think of what is best for him and right now fighting with these people to keep him, just confuses him and puts him in the middle. My door will always be open for him.
Thank you all for your kind words...it helps!

You are awesome for loving this guy. His life will be much better for having you in it. The quilt is beautiful and he will always have it with him. Thank you for sharing and I hope he comes back into your life again.
