I thought about it but wasn't sure I understood how to do it. So if I was lost from the beginning, wasn't sure. I will follow along on here to see. Good luck everyone!

You finish the top in one day They give you the starting instructions so you can get ready then on Sunday starting at 10 am they give you the next step- and every hour ( I think) they give you the next step

This years is a little bigger than last years. I think we should be able to get it done in one day. I did one on SuperBowl Sunday that was more involved. I never finished that one. I still have the borders to put on that one.

If you don't get it done then you can always print out the directions and finish it another time. I didn't print then out on Super Bowl Sunday because I was out of ink on my printer but was able to save it to a file on my computer.

The more you guys talk about it the more I am inclined to do it. I am not going to a party on Sat night so I will be well rested.

This sounds interesting. I've printed off the fabric requirements & will go see what I have in my stash.
I've done a mystery quilt before. Of course, it took me a month or so to finish it. I am really slllllllooooooowwwwww.

I have done everyone of these that they have done for the past 5 years. Some of the quilts are wonderful and I would do them again, others, well... lets say they are in my finished top stash and may get used as a backing for another quilt! LOL

I couldn't figure out this years instructions, so I figured that I would wait till the 2nd set of instructions to get a better idea of what they are talking about. I am not sure how many fabrics they are wanting and then they say that we should have a jelly roll. When I do these, I try not to buy anything and try to use everything out of my stash. This year, I am not sure.

How many will be doing this and will you be checking in here as well as Planet Patchwork??

I haven't done a head count - but I guess we could

Fabriclovr as for the instructions- it means IF you have a jelly roll use the medium to darker strips if not you can make your own jelly roll by cutting 23 ( or more) strips Medium to dark 2 1/2 wide by the width of the fabric - does that help ?
