Default comic book store

So I went to the comic book store today to get more boards to put my fabric on (I've only gone through 200 so far). I grab 2 packages of boards and head to the register. The young guy working there just smiles and says 'for fabric'? I said yes and he said "we get that alot". He also indicated he was thrilled to have another avenue for sales.

We quilters must not look like the average comic book collectors. LOL

When I bought mine the other day, he said "No bags?". I said, "No, it's for fabric". He said, "never heard that before". Sure he will again soon.

these are for folding your fabric a really neat, orderly way. Go to this tutorial here on QB and see what a beautiful, organized fabric stash looks like. The "teacher" shows us how to fold fabric around her boards - they are not comic boards - but comic boards are also used much the same way:

Wonderful tip. You just solved my problem. I hand dye fabric and currently just fold them on hangers but not the best use of the space. Will check out folding them on comic book boards.

Which size do you buy? I see a few different sizes. I'm thinking I may run to the comic book store on my way home.

OK...called the comic book store and the poor guy got flustered on the phone with me. Guess they don't get many girls calling up there. LOL! I will run by and pick up a pack of 100 and see how the do! Thank you for the information!!!
