Those are placemats from Kohl's!!! I would love to perfect my FMQ to be that good, but, alas, I will never have enough skill or practice enough for that!

These are darling doll clothes - my daughter had Samantha - I guess it was back in the 80s - I made her quite a few outfits and it was so much fun. My auntie Dot made my doll a whole set of clothes back in the 50s for my "walking doll" and she's the one who inspired me to make the set for my daughter. (and to learn to sew) My Dad's mom made a gown for my dolly which was out of the scraps and modeled after my own flower girl outfit, also in the 50s. As I've been older and gained a sense of perspective, I've often wished for a photo of me in that dress with the doll- I was too shy at the wedding to let them take my picture !
