They are small but you can use larger material or work over two threads. You could go as large as hooked rug canvas with wool if you want to. There is a lot of detail in them and that is what makes them so nice.

My idea is to try a quilt with the patterns.

Thank you! I LOVE teacups and have a hand cross-stitched project matted and framed. I plan to buy an embroidery machine in the near future and hope to utilize these!

did you guys see that you can get a set of snowpeople also from 2009? Just click on the link at the top where it says previous patterns.. the snowpeople are adorable!!!
