You all have convinced me that, when we retire, we will stay right where we are. No lizard or reptile problems here. I got the creeps just reading all these stories.

My son bought a house in Phoenix- LOTS of scorpions - Exterminator there once a month for awhile. I told him to ask about diatamatious earth - yes it works but you do not spread it so it is spread uneavenly. kind of blow it around otherwise they will crawl around it. It works for lots of things. go online and see everything it works on. they crawl over it, it cuts them and they dehydrate. Food grade can even be used internally and it will rid you of parasites. I use it in my hosta gardens for slugs.

WOW I just can't get over all those creepy crawleys guess I will just stay right here and be thankful for our long cold winters with the fresh snow that keeps all those things away sure glad they don't live in a cold climate

I am frustrated. I wrote a post about kitty cat being our hero and I can reply here and there and there but cannot reply to my own thread and let ppl know I sooo enjoy the support. I hope you don't mind me putting this here since we have both been "invaded" recently!

I live in southeast GA, as well. If I found a lizard in my bed, I would never sleep there again! I'm not afraid of much, but lizards just send me over the brink! We've seen them outside, but truly hope I never see one inside. I'm afraid I'd have to move!
