Default Playing With An I Spy Spiderweb Design Today

I recently cut several thousand 5" squares for charity I Spy quilts. At the end of each piece there is always a leftover strip that is narrower than 5", so today I started piecing several of those strips together to make a "Spiderweb" type I Spy quilt. Here's what I've got so far...

It reminds me of "Where's Waldo". Once you find him or something on this quilt, you lose it and have to hunt again. It would be a good challenge for older kids. Lots of fun!

Love it! Love how scrappy and happy it looks! It will keep a young child very busy looking and looking at all of those wonderful colorful prints.

How cool is this. I love the fact that you don't have many seams to match up. That makes it fun for me to do. Will try this when I have this type of leftover. Thanks for the idea!
