To Everyone, Thank you for all the compliments! I thought maybe some of you would like to see the back of the Rose of Sharon quilt. I used matching thread, so the quilting is very visible. Don't look too closely at it as my FMQ skills aren't at the same level as applique & piecing skills!!! I'm getting better, but still have a long way to go. I have an extensive collection of Sharpie colored markers for correcting "Oops-s!"

This quilt was done as a QAYG-style quilt. I really like this method, but it really only works with a design that has sashings. The idea for the matching thread came from the book & Barb Shapel who did the quilting on Sharon's quilt.
