Default Memory Quilt for my Lifetime Valentine

Greetings,

This quilt was made for my son who crossed over almost 6 years ago (Feb. 21st is his angel date). My son was born on Valentine's Day, 1985. He had celebrated his 24th birthday in 2009, an exact week later he crossed over after an auto accident. He left behind a 5 year old daughter at the time. She's now 12. This quilt is made up of his basketball uniforms, some hair ties he bought her when she was little, some of her t-shirts, and a partial bandana that belonged to my grandfather. My good friend helped me accomplish this bittersweet labor of love. My son was a tissue donor. As a result, I will be making a square in his honor for the memorial quilts for the organ donor organization. I will be very proud to see that hanging up as well as it being archived in their website.
Thanks for looking.
Monique

It is one of the hardest things in life for a parent to loose a child, no matter how old the child is. Blessing to you and your family.
