You're correct. There are no restrictions on the pattern of your fabric. That's the fun part. We get a huge variety of prints. I'm always amazed, especially by the fact that we don't get to many duplicates. Some people may make requests to me if they'd rather not get novelties or a certain holiday theme. I can SOMETIMES help them out there. But most the times the bags are filled with a wide variety of prints and it would be impossible to sort through the bags. Earlier in this swap a swapper mentioned brights would be fun to have, and I love the idea, but it's not required for everyone to send them. Most ladies join to add to their variety of stamps. So if we have returning swappers I'd hope we get new varieties swapped.

And yes, your individual packs of 50 can all be the same. The reason I set our swap limit to 15 is because from a 2.5" strip I generally get 16 squares. That gives me 15 to swap and 1 to keep!

I hope I didn't confuse you more. And I hope you join us! We have a great group!

Count me in for 15 sets....5 twist sets....30 all-the-same set. 😉

Thank you so much for the reply. I have a tool to help with the size - so accuracy shouldn't be a problem. And I have one jelly roll to cut up. So 15 sets shouldn't be an issue when I add in my scrapa, stash, etc. however, let me cut it up and then I can send you actual quantities. I'll make sure none of the low volume fabric is see through. I've been wanting to make a postage stamp quilt for a while, so this will jump start the effort.

Kind regards,
Tracy

That is a fabulous idea, and I'm stealing it.

Yes, it's much quicker to line up a stack of WOF strips and cross cut them all at one time! (But I usually end up cutting up scrap pieces...)

Looks like I'll be in for four to six sets - but I'll pm before the deadline to confirm.

Just mailed mine in today's mail... Yesterday someone gave me FOUR BOXES of scraps!! Woo hoo... what a blessing! I've been having fun sorting them into colors and cutting squares. Loads for future candy swaps, all new and different from what I had in my stash. I'm in scrap heaven!

Sewbigirl, remember to save one of each for your projects! Some of my "keepers" were sent inadverdently out in a summer swap last year, probably won't see that fabric again, drats.
