I am working on a GFG. yesterday I took my hexies with me to my DH's doctor appointment. One of the ladies there asked me what I was doing and before I knew it, she was writing stuff down so she could start something while her DH was undergoing therapy. I did warn her that it was a long term project and kinda pricey but she didn't seem to mind. Hoping to see her the next time I go to therapy with DH to see if she followed through.

LOL, another one bites the dust.

It's beautiful and I admire your persistence in the face of adversity. So glad the wine stain came out.

It's beautiful! I CANNOT imagine the hours of work you have in this, including the quilting, but it's worth it. You've created an heirloom!

Beautiful! I really like the placement of your flowers, and your quilting is great. My avatar is a baby quilt all hand sewn and quilted so I know the time and effort that must have gone into yours. Someday I will make another, but right now am working on a cathedral window

You might try Carbona stain remover..available at WalMart. They come in yellow triangular bottles and are stain specific. There is also a general Carbona cleaner. I have gotten hundreds of stains out with these and original Dawn.

Your quilt is lovely. You did very nice work on it.

That is a lovely quilt! You have a lot of patience to hand-piece and hand-quilt it. But it is a beautiful heirloom now! Thank you for sharing with us!

A work of art! Absolutely gorgeous. I love the white flowers between the colored ones. I am in awe of your talent - hand piecing and hand quilting! This should be treasure by future generations.
