You might also try looking for crutch tips in the pharmacy section or at a drugstore.

There are rubber mats used in gyms for exercise. You could get one of those and it would make standing while ironing or pressing much easier on your feet and legs as well as holding the ironing board in place.

Update: I bought the non skid ironing board "tips" from Amazon and they work great.
