Default Movie

Local theatre offers $5 tueday movie day, so I went and saw The Accountant. Very interesting plot line, along with much violence.

Have not seen that one; I'm not a fan of the violence part of movies. Did go to the Edward Snowden movie this summer and was very impressed by it. Came away with a different viewpoint.

I wish our two local movie houses offered the $5 day like they used to. We have an independent film house in the next city that has some amazing movies that aren't seen in "big box movie houses". They used to have a matinee price on Wed. of $5 but no more. Now I have to wait until it comes out on Netflix, if even then.

I saw Girl On A Train with friends yesterday. It was okay, a bit thought provoking. Friends who had read the book first said it followed the book well.

Haven't seen The Accountant, but I'm glad you told us about the violence. Life can be stressful enough right now without choosing to spend time with it for two hours one day.

We have a small movie theater here that has $5.00 movies all day Tuesday's, even the newest movies. Love going there as others are so expensive. They even have $2.00 specials for small popcorn or small drink. I saw Girl on a Train there and thought it was very confusing.

This is an Oliver Stone movie. While he does make good movies, he tends to play with the facts.

The book is so much better. There is so much psychological stuff in the book that just cannot be shown in a movie. If you're a reader, read the book. Be aware, it starts slowly. I almost put it down.

the theater we go to charges $5.
Tonight my husband saw the new Tom Cruise, I saw Medea Halloween movie.
We each saw what we wanted. Never did that before. we always sat together.
I figured, we don't talk in the movies, so it worked out fine.
