I think it looks great. And now my opinion on the statement "To those who shudder when you use a sheet for backing." My friend and I were just talking about this very thing this morning. I have never seen anyone that received a quilt get out their team of inspectors and say "Was this made with $15.99 a yard fabric or is it a sheet?"
I have used sheets many times to back a quilt. If you think about how much wear a sheet gets, to me it makes perfect sense. And it fits my limited budget.

Love your quilt and ideal for the boys!

I also use quilts whenever I can - love the feel of a used one that has been washed many times and "pre-softened" for the quilt.
