My handle is just part of my last name, Tucker and what I do, quilt. I use the same handle on more than one site etc.

Mine's so obvious and unoriginal.
But, at least I can remember it!

Jan in VA (as opposed to Jan in TX, which I used to be years ago.)

Mine doesn't have much originality to it either. My given name is Candace - family and friends all call me Candy - since a lot of my time is spent quilting, it just seemed to blend together "Quiltingcandy".

Mine is from part of my last name Gerbert. A dear friend has always called me Gerbie, so I thought why not use that, easy to remember.

Mine's pretty straightforward, got 2 kids (both grown) and I hang out in the Mom Cave (a.k.a. the basement) where all my sewing stuff is supposed to stay put. Some of it has migrated to the kitchen again!

Mine starts with my initials, using maiden name and my nickname ( owl) was attached to me in 1994 when I was working midnight shifts and I used to play trivia in a little bar in our town.

While waiting for our grandchilds birth (21 years ago), our daughter insisted that this child would call me Grandma as she called hers. I was not sure I liked that but was very happy to BE that. So when our Megan was learning to talk she could Not say Grandma. It came out Reba, so I am stuck with it! Lots of people who know our grands call me Reba, sometimes they are surprised to find out my name is Carol! The 5 year olds call me ...The Rebs! All of them learned early not to touch the sewing machines or Reba'squilts.

My name is Connie - I love to paint, quilt, decorate cakes and I was born in 1945. I was once rejected from joining a group because of the name but they relented ... lol

Thanks, Dunster. Now I know. In other words, Dunster is a little slice of heaven.
